DAO governance is how a decentralized autonomous organization decides what to do: who may make a proposal, how voting power is measured, how individual votes combine into a decision, and how a passed decision is carried out on-chain. This section is general reference and is not specific to Caper. Concepts covers the models and mechanisms: what a DAO is and where the idea came from, voting methods from token-weighted voting to quadratic voting and futarchy, treasury management, membership and legal structure, and how DAOs fail or are attacked. Tooling covers the platforms teams use to vote, hold and pay out funds, manage roles, and measure governance.
