Caper collects about as little as a site can and still work. There is no account to create, no email to hand over, and no password to store. This page says exactly what exists, where it sits, and what you cannot take back.

What we collect

• Your wallet address. When you sign in, you prove control of a Radix account by signing a challenge. We store the address. It is your identity on Caper and it is public.
• A profile picture, if you set one. Stored as a link to an image.
• What you publish. Wiki pages, every revision of them, and comments – each recorded against your wallet address.
• A short-lived sign-in challenge. A random string with a five-minute life, deleted the moment it is used or expires.

What we do not collect

No name, no email address, no phone number, no password, no date of birth, no government ID, no payment details. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run third-party trackers, and we do not sell or rent anything about you to anyone.

Cookies

One cookie: a session token set when you sign in. It is httpOnly, expires after twelve hours, and exists only to keep you signed in. There are no advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.

Analytics

We use Plausible for aggregate traffic numbers – page views, referrers, and country. Plausible sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track anyone across sites. It is served from our own domain, so it works with an ad blocker on and never sees your wallet address.

What is public, and permanently so

This matters more here than on an ordinary site. Your wallet address, the capers you join, the wiki pages and revisions you author, and your comments are all public on caper.network.

Separately, everything you do on-chain – every buy, sell, proposal, vote, and exit – is written to the Radix public ledger. That record is outside our control. We cannot edit or erase it, and neither can you. Anyone can read it, and anyone can link the activity on one address together. If you want to separate two activities, use two addresses.

Where the data lives

• Database – Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted on AWS in eu-west-1, Ireland.
• Hosting and images – Vercel, which serves the site and stores images uploaded to the wiki editor. Vercel keeps standard request logs, which include IP addresses, for a limited period.
• Analytics – Plausible, EU-hosted.
• Network data – read from Radix Gateway, operated by RDX Works, when the site displays on-chain state.

How long we keep it

Sign-in challenges are deleted on use or expiry. The session cookie expires after twelve hours. Your wallet address and what you have published are kept for as long as the site runs – wiki history is append-only on purpose, so the record of who changed what stays legible. Deleted comments are hidden from view and retained in the record.

Your choices

You can stop at any time by disconnecting your wallet and not returning. To ask about, correct, or delete what we hold, get in touch – bear in mind that content already published to the wiki forms part of a public history, and that nothing on the Radix ledger can be deleted by anyone, including us.

Children

Caper is not for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
